Our History

Hi, I'm ..., founder of Salkaway Peru Travel. Since I was little, I have always deeply admired women entrepreneurs and dreamed of building something of my own that would unite my two great passions: traveling and entrepreneurship.

In June 2014, I decided to take that step and created Salkaway Peru Travel, an agency inspired by the love of discovering new cultures, respect for local communities and the desire to promote responsible and authentic tourism in Peru.

The name Salkaway Peru Travel was born from the stories my grandparents told about Machupicchu, the ancient name of Peru and a symbol of our roots and the connection with this land that unites us.

Today, I continue to believe that each trip can transform not only those who explore, but also those who share their home, their culture and their history.
